About us
My name is Lorraine, (most people call me Mati these days) and I'm a graphic designer and author. The Crafty Coyote is a business I started in 2010, and it has grown ever since. Because art and writing are both dear to me, neither takes the forefront in my career. I spend much of my time doing trade shows, where I can continue embracing both my talents.
In 2013, I became the Art Director for Fantastic Journeys Publishing, and I took the opportunity to work closely artists and authors to create professional looking novels. I published my first novel Archipelago, with the sequel Confluence soon to follow. After a long summer traveling the comicon circuits, I spent time working as a professional book reviewer with Steampunk Sparrow’s Book Blog. While a reduction in time has significantly stopped my ability to post there, I still enjoy reading and giving feedback to other writers.
In 2018, I spent time running a ceramic business and learning to foster relationships with clients. I took a few summers to restock inventory, regroup, and focus on book edits. Now, after a period of trial and error, I am back building doing what I love: creating, and more importantly, helping other’s embrace their own talents.
In my shop you can find handmade products, copies of my books, as well as information to purchase some of my services like branding packages and logo designs.
